Federation Training Tosses
The Central Cumberland Federation will be conducting training tosses for the 2026 race season. The training tosses will follow the race truck each week and liberated thirty minutes after the race birds.
We have hired a prime mover and driver to transport the birds to the race point each week. We have spent over $8,000.00 on the repairs and service of the old trailer to conduct the tossing.
Training tosses will start 30th May 2026 with the first race. Cost per basket for training tosses is $20 per basket which includes GST. To break even in cost, we require a minimum of 100 baskets each week. Training tosses will continue while the minimum basket requirement is met.
To register your baskets for fed tossing you must notify your club secretary Wednesday night each week. Your club secretary must notify the fed secretary of the number of baskets to be sent by your club. The fed treasurer will invoice your club secretary for fed tossing each week.
When delivering your birds at Fairfield showground you will be allocated a loading number in which sequence one group of baskets will be loaded at a time to ensure safety for all in attendance.
