Conditions of Entry 2026 (Note that these conditions are subject to management changes.)


Pigeons will only be accepted when they are five weeks old and fully covered under the wing (mate birds around middle of November).


All entrance fees must be paid in full before sending birds. They will not be accepted otherwise.


Prize money will be announced when all entries are finalised.


There will be a total of 550 birds, 140 owners / syndicates.Entry is $400 per bird, 4 birds maximum per team. Intake of birds will be in January only.


Payments will be made to the Commonwealth Bank BSB 065 125 Account 1045 1687.


Please indicate the account as “Golden Mile OLR” and include in the reference field your name.Birds must be vaccinated for PMV at least five days before shipping.


They will receive a further two shots of PMV and Rota after arrival with a four-week interval. They will also receive a shot for Pox. The birds will undergo a weekly veterinary medication program.


Owners please note do not vaccinate for pox. Birds will be transported on the SAHPA Geraldy transporter.


Training will be twice weekly using the SAHPA Mazda unit.


Race 1 – 280 kms Carrieton 1


Race 2 – 360 kms Hawker 1


Race 3 – 415 kms Parachilna


Race 4 – 510 kms Lyndhurst Open


Option for Coober Pedy race ($100 per bird 22nd of August). Pigeons will be transported separately to Coober Pedy. All pigeons will be rung with 2025 rings. No old rings will be accepted.


Interstate arrivals: Please book for Saturday morning arrival. Local drop off to 10 Baulderstone Road Gepps Cross SA 5094 between 8 am-11 am Mon., Wed., Friday.


Payment must have been received before drop-off.


Electronic Timing: we will use the Benzing One Loft program. Pigeons will be chipped up on arrival.


End of season: birds may be picked up, or I will send them back (at owner’s expense) via airlines if requested.


Any birds not returned to their owner by will be sold at auction and all monies will go to a maintenance fund.All care will be taken but no responsibility will be had for loss of birds.


There will be no contact with the loft Manager only loft representative, or email.


Summary of due dates:


A. Register and Payment 1/11/2025 until 12/12/2025.


B. Pigeon shipping or delivery 1/1/26 until 31/1/2026.


C. Birds returned at owner’s expense.
