NexGen Lofts Auction Birds

The list below is a brief description of 12 young birds bred for stock that will be up for auction on the Greater Melbourne Auction Site commencing on the 12^th July to the 15^th July, where photos and full pedigrees will be displayed.

The following 12 Lots of young stock birds are being offered for sale by auction from the lofts of Paul Gibbs. These 12 young birds represent the absolute best of my current day stock birds. A brief description of each bird is listed below. More detailed information can be found on each bird’s pedigree.

Lot 1 Van Loon Grizzle Hen CCF-25-861 Contains the bloodline of all my best VL lines that include my “Club Bird of the Year” 2013, the “Silver Shadow”, “Miss Perfection” a double G/daughter of “Sensational” that contains the best of the VL’s from the late Steve Beverley and Steve Pradella of WA.

Lot 2 Blue Checker Flty Hen CCF-25-832 A super cross of two well performed bloodlines – those of Herman/Ceuster and those of Andrea Drapa with H/C coming from Jack Vanderlinden and Jason Stig’s birds. The Drapa side is down off direct imports of Warren March. Many top pigeons have been bred from this crossing.

Lot 3 Grizzle Hen CCF-25-873 Two distinct winning families of birds are represented in these young hens breeding, those of Greg Hamilton’s and those of champion Andrew Muirhead N01 pair, this in combination with the long-distance birds of Lee Abbott renowned for his long-distance winning family.

Lot 4 Slate Cock CCF-25-860 A lovely young cock bred off my best VL’s with a double cross of my foundation pair “Clovellly Lad” and “Sharapova” many winners down off this pair. His dam is a well-bred Adrea Drapa bird purchased from Warren March directly off his imports. The slate colour can be attributed to the Janssen influence that is in both the sire and dams breeding. An idea cross to go with many Janssen/VL birds.

Lot 5 Blue Bar Hen CCF-25-803 An exceptionally well-bred young hen, directly off my N02 VL cock “Malibu” and my foundation hen “Sharapova”. I cannot breed a better young hen than this. She represents the best of my family of birds. (A full brother is also included in this auction being “Lot 7”). Very few birds bred off these two birds have ever been parted with.

Lot 6 Mealy Flty Cock CCF-25-870 A bloodline of late that has been in high demand with the absolute best of the Herman/Ceuster/ Dirk Van den Bulck’s included in this young cock’s pedigree that is inbred back to the famous “Best Kittle” lines. Nothing but the best.

Lot 7 Blue Bar Cock CCF-25-862 A full brother to Lot 5 (See above for details as well as detailed information included on his pedigree.

Lot 8 Blue Bar Cock CCF-25- 882 A young cock that should be a success in the stock loft being inbred to the champion “Olympiade” on his sire’s side, while on his dam‘s side it can be seen that many of the best birds of DVB, Robin Van Leuven, Rudi Van Reeth and Patrick Broecke’s champion racer/producer “Sagan” are prominent.

Lot 9 Grizzle Hen CCF-25-848 A lovely young hen bred from some of my best Van Loons. She is a full sister to Lot 1 refer above for details.

Lot 10 Light Checker Hen CCF-25-852 Bred off two birds that have in their pedigree several top performers as both breeders and race birds. Her G/sire contains many of the top Eijerkamp/Ponderosa Janssen/Van Loons in his pedigree, while her dam is off my original VL’s that contain some very well performed birds. (Refer to pedigree).

Lot 11 Blue Checker Hen CCF-25-821 All Herman/Ceuster, being inbred to the champion “Olympiade” while also in the pedigree are “De Jan”, “De 400 Duiven”, “Laat, “Lamborghini” and “Mercedeedes”. Nothing but the best.

Lot 12 Blue Bar Cock CCF-25-881 The sire’s side all Herman/Ceuster, in bred “Olympiade”. His dam containing the best of the DVB, Robin Van Leuven, Rudi Van Reeth birds combined with the champion “Inteelt Sagan” bloodline of Patrick Broeckx (This cock is a full brother to Lot8).
