To be eligible to fly on the CCF truck, a pigeon must be wearing a life ring from a recognised Australian Federation, Association, or club.

Pigeons not meeting this criteria are not eligible to be flown.

Examples of rings that are not permitted include:

• Private rings

• Overseas rings

• Rings purchased from eBay, AliExpress, or a similar retailer

• Rings purchased through a local retailer not associated with a club (eg, "Racing Pigeons Australia", etc)
