Volunteers Needed – Help Strengthen the CCF Community

The Central Cumberland Racing Pigeon Federation (CCF) is looking for volunteers to help support several important areas within the federation throughout the racing season.

Our sport relies heavily on the support and commitment of members, and with a few extra helping hands we can continue improving communication, race coverage, and federation operations for everyone involved.

🎥 Liberation Video Upload & YouTube Support

Liberation videos are currently taken by the liberator at the race point. We are looking for volunteers who can assist with the uploading, sharing, and management of these videos on YouTube and other CCF online platforms.

This role will help members stay connected with weekly race activities and improve the federation’s online presence and communication.

📱 SMS Notifications & Member Updates

We are seeking a volunteer to assist with sending SMS messages for important federation updates, notices, and race information to members.

This role is extremely important for communication across the federation. Without a volunteer to manage this area, SMS updates and important notices will not be sent out to members.

🚛 Loader Assistance – Basketing Nights

We are also seeking volunteers to assist as loaders on basketing nights at Fairfield between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

This role is extremely important in helping ensure the smooth preparation and dispatch of birds each week.

CCF flying fees will be paid by the Federation in return for loading services provided for the complete race schedule for 2026.

🌐 Website & Article Writers

Another area we would like to improve is the amount of content and communication shared through the CCF website and online platforms.

We are looking for volunteers who may be interested in:

• Writing race reports

• Creating pigeon racing articles

• Sharing member stories

• Posting federation news and updates

• Assisting with website content

If you enjoy writing or have experience with articles, photography, or online content creation, your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
